We meet in one of two places, depending on time of year and weather. Check the announcements to see where each month’s gathering will be held!

Palmer Park

During the spring, summer and autumn we normally meet in Palmer Park in Reading.

The green arrow on the map below shows the car park, whose entrance is off Wokingham Road. (Parking is free for users of Palmer Park.) We meet on the grass just north of the car park if the weather is good, or under the covered area at the end of the car park if it’s raining.

The postcode of Palmer Park is RG6 1LF, although note that if you use a satnav or online route finder that will probably take you to the Palmer Park Sports Stadium which is not quite the same, so take a print-out of the park layout to show you where to go. You might have more luck using directions to the flats opposite the car park, whose address is:
66, Wokingham Road, Reading, RG6 1JL

Park United Reformed Church

During the winter months we hire a room in the Park United Reformed Church, which is situated right next to Palmer Park, on the corner of Wokingham Road and Palmer Park Avenue.

There are lots of different rooms in the church, so check each month’s announcement to see which one we’re using! Then when you arrive, ring the bell for the correct room and someone will let you in.

You can either park in the Palmer Park Stadium car park or in the car park opposite the church. Note that the car park opposite the church can only be accessed from Palmer Park Avenue which is one-way, so you must approach it from the east rather than just turning onto it from Wokingham Road.
