September 25th meeting Palmer Park

We will be in palmer park (See directions top left) on the 25th of september from 10am-12pm for the Pushing hands meeting.

Hopefully the weather will hold out but there is cover if needed.

28th August Meeting update

First of all sorry for the late post I have had trouble accessing the site as my laptop has given up on me and I can not always get on the site at work for some reason?

I myself can not actually be at the park on August 28th meeting to host, due to unforeseen shortages of child care ect, however please do still meet up in the usual place in Palmer Park(Directions top right of page)  There is cover if need be by the car park.

I will set about in the meantime looking at the meeting for September 26th being in the church hall as the weather seems to be failing us recently and confirm with time to spare in my next post.

Next gathering 31st July 10am-12pm

The next free pushing hands session will be held on the 31st of July from 10am-12pm.

We will be outside in Palmer Park as the nice weather looks to be holding at the moment, although there is cover if needed.

The more the merrier one of the best things about pushing hands is you have the opportunity to learn something different with every new person you train with, so if you have been before or are thinking of coming spread the word and let others know so we can all continue to improve.

No meeting for May (Master Chen Xiaowang)

Hi all

As you may or may not Know last months meeting was our event organiser Alistair’s last (for a while at least as he has now moved to pastures new!)

I will however continue to hold the free meetings as we have had very positive feedback so far and feel they are very much worth the time.

There will not be an official meeting  this month (May 29th) as Master Chen Xiaowang is holding Seminars for the CIAA from 26th of may so most of our regulars (Me included) will probably be doing some top quality training with him while we can.

Happy Christmas – see you on January 30th!

There will be no gathering in December, as the last Saturday falls on Boxing Day and although I’d be happy to meet up I suspect attendance might be rather low!

The next session will therefore be on Saturday 30th January, in the upstairs lounge of Park United Reformed Church (see here for directions). If you haven’t attended before, please read the guidelines here.

Location for 28th November

I’ve managed to book a room for Saturday 28th November: we’ll be in the Park United Reformed Church (the same building we were in last month), but this time we’ll be using the upstairs lounge rather than the main hall.

Please note that there will be a Christmas event going on in the rest of the building, so remember we’re in the upstairs lounge! If the front door isn’t open, just ring the bell for the lounge (to the right of the door) and someone will let you in.
